I studied for my City and Guilds in Creative Embroidery over a 4 year period. Once I had completed the course I was a volunteer helping students at Eastleigh College who were studying the same course. I then went on to take a degree in Stitched Textiles and my final body of work was screen printed pinnies. That was 7 years ago and I have been printing ever since.

I just love the whole art and crafts life, and I encourage students to use a variety of tools - screens, stencils, blocks, gellie plates. With my help and direction I make sure that they get the best out of the day and end up with a piece of work that they have designed. I hope they go away with the desire to continue to learn new skills,

I have demonstrated with Artv Van Go on their Artists in Action stand at all the major shows. I just loved doing that.

I started stitching 25 years ago and have many favourites. I have loved so many people. Ruth Issett had a profound impact on me when I did a course with her
