I work mainly in pencil these days and I have a very technical style and approach to drawing. My work is quite dynamic and uses a lot of techniques to create a near photo realism aesthetic.
I’ve been a designer for the last 32 years and I’ve worked on some very high profile projects for most of the worlds top advertising and brand consultancies. I’ve worked on everything from football world cup campaigns to packaging for household names brands.
Most of my work has been used commercially. I’ve not really pursued showing my work outside of my role as a designer, as yet.
I find inspiration in nature. I love textures and patterns and I’ve tried to reflect that in my work over the years. I have many favourite artists, but the one I love the most is the furthest away from my own work and his name is Vincent Van Gogh.
I love music and play blues guitar every day. I love music as much as I love drawing.
