On this one-day workshop you will be shown how to paint in an impressionist style using the techniques and skills of Paul Cezanne using photographs supplied. By the end of the day you will have produced one small landscape painting. The course will also include insight into the way Cezanne painted, his background and the influence of his contemporaries.

Materials
Materials are not included in your course fee. The items you will need to bring with you are listed below:
Students - please bring with you:
- 1 x A4 tear-off palette or a few paper plates
- 1 x size 4, 8 and 12 round acrylic painting brush
- Brush sizes vary depending on manufacturer. You will need brushes approximately 5mm, 10mm and 15mm wide
- Daler Rowney System 3 paint (or an equivalent make such as Winsor Newton) 75ml tubes, one each of the following colours: ultramarine blue, cadmium yellow, burnt sienna or burnt umber and titanium white
- 1 x A3 Pad (or a couple of sheets) Daler Rowney System 3 acrylic paper (if you have watercolour paper then this will suffice)
- 1 x palette knife
- Box of tissues
- Cling film to cover your palette
- An old shirt or apron to wear when painting
