I will take you step by step through the Cyanotype technique, a photographic process that produces a striking Cyan coloured print. We will be creating various unique Cyanotype prints using your own photographs and drawings. We will be looking into this process and learning more about the photographic solution that is involved to create this prints. We will also explore toning and tanning techniques to push and develop your prints further taking them away from the cyan colour and into rich sepia tones. I will have my laptop and printer with me so that we can edit and print your photographs during the workshop. You will need to have some image options saved on a memory stick or ipad/tablet etc.

Materials
Materials are not included in your course fee. All materials will be supplied by the tutor. The approximate cost of these is £10 payable to the tutor on the day.
Your tutor may not have the facilities to take card payments for materials in the workshops. Please remember to bring cash
Please Bring With You
You will need to bring a selection of photographs in that you intend to use for your cyanotypes. Bringing a selection will mean that we can go through them and select the more appropriate ones on the day.
We advise that you do not buy any materials required for a course more than two weeks in advance, because occasionally a course is cancelled due to low enrolment.
