Your Penguin will be made from fine Scandinavian wool. Sue will show you how to create different poses and expressions to give the penguin character.. Dry felting - or needle felting – is a simple process in which you create 3D shapes using wool and a barbed needle (none of that messy wet wool business!).Your penguin will be 7”- 8” tall. You will be shown how to produce different effects with a variety of felting needles as well as the best techniques to use for each part of the animal.

Materials are not included in your course fee. All materials will be provided by the tutor. The approximate cost of these will be £20, payable to the tutor during the course.
Your tutor may not have the facilities to take card payments for materials in the workshops. Please remember to bring cash or your cheque book

Please Bring With You
- Apron
- Notebook and pen
- Camera if you wish to record the process and results
- Some pictures of penguins to use as reference
- A small tube of UHU glue
- Basic sewing kit
- A selection of glass beads for the eyes or glass eyes on metal pins (there will be a selection to purchase from the tutor).
