This two day workshop will transport you into drawing and exploring patterns found in nature, whether it’s the scales of a lizard, the feathers of a bird or the geometric structure of flowers. I’d love to take you on a close up and detailed journey, and to give you expert tips and hints on how to recreate these amazing patterns in nature.

Level
This course is designed for almost all levels, including complete beginners. Don't worry - you will be guided through the techniques at your own pace!

​Materials
Materials are not included in your course fee. ​​The tutor may not have the facilities to take card payments for materials in the workshops. Please remember to bring cash or your cheque book if your course involves buying materials from the tutor.

Please Bring With You
  • Derwent 0.5mm mechanical pencil or similar and extra leads (HB, 3B)
  • A soft putty rubber
  • Sketchbook - preferably Hot Pressed (very smooth) watercolour paper sized A4  

We advise that you do not buy any materials required for a course more than two weeks in advance, because occasionally a course is cancelled due to low enrolment.​​
