Further Detail
A weekend workshop will give plenty fo time to make and ‘finish’ to a high standard each of the pieces - Teapot, jug, jam pot, cups, saucers, plates and spoons. Debbie will demonstrate alternative ways of making the pieces, allowing you to choose your preferred method. The aim is to make the teapot, jug, jam pot and cups and saucers on the first day. On the second morning you will make the plates and spoons before ‘finishing off’ pieces made on day 1.
After lunch on day 2 we will colour the teapots using underglaze colours. Debbie will take the tea services back to her studio to dry and fire, adding a transparent glaze inside and out. She will return the services to Ardington for you to collect in approximately 3-4 weeks
