From this starting point develop abstract sample pieces working with wash techniques and acrylic mediums to create layers of opaque and translucent colour, adding depth and subtle contrast.

Some materials will be provided by the tutor. The approximate cost of these will be £3, payable to the tutor during the course. The items you will need to bring with you are listed below. The tutor may not have the facilities to take card payments for materials in the workshops. Please remember to bring cash or your cheque book.

Please Bring With You
- A small selection of brushes for use with acrylic paint, I use a round number 10 or 12 and a 1 inch course bristle. Bring brushes which hold a good amount of paint, favourites and any you might wish to experiment with.
- An A3 tear out loose leaf sketchbook of good quality cartridge paper for colour mixing development and notes.
- Apron or overall, please wear suitable clothing for the workshop.
