Further Details:
Start with some basic cutting practise before going on to either create your own design for a panel or choose from a selection of prepared designs. You will learn how to cut glass using a cutline template; work with lead to assemble the panel and then solder and cement the panel to finish. The final cleaning stage is done at home the next day.
There will be group demonstrations of techniques and individual guidance.

Beginners and those who wish to improve/refresh their skills. Good manual dexterity required
Materials
Materials are not included in your course fee. The tutor will provide all the materials and tools to make your panel.
The cost of one panel is £45. This is payable to the tutor at the end of the day and card payments are welcome.
If you make more than one piece you will be charged accordingly.
Students - please bring with you:
We advise that you do not buy any materials required for a course more than two weeks in advance, because occasionally a course is cancelled due to low enrolment.

- making an easel
- selecting and cutting a variety of glass types
- preparing a glazing board
- working with lead to assemble the pieces into a panel
- soldering and cementing to finish
