Workshop details
The beautiful world of offhand flourishing is peaceful and meditative and traditionally done without the use of pencil or planning the designs. This can often be intimidating for beginners but in this class, you will gain confidence as you create cascading corners, swags, or borders.
Striking emphasis can be added to your work through simple pen drawn elements like florals and leaves. You can achieve remarkable effects using a Victorian pen etching technique. Monochromatic designs can be achieved, or we can bring colour into our designs. We will be combining the wonder of nature with the versatility of offhand flourishing as these beautiful designs come to life on your paper.
The possibilities are endless as you create these beautiful designs that emerge almost magically on your paper.
Specific skills you will learn at the workshop
Equipment & materials list
