This two-day, onsite workshop is suitable for absolute beginners as well as the more experienced embroiderer.
Workshop Details
Using photos and examples of ribbon work for inspiration, as well as demonstrations of all different techniques, your beautiful unique garden will grow before your eyes.
Silk ribbon is very malleable, soft and easy to use, so roses, hollyhocks, daises and many other flowers will be stitched along with other garden features.

Materials
Materials are not included in your booking fee. All materials will be provided by the tutor. The approximate cost of these will be £10.00, payable to the tutor during the class.
The tutor may not have the facilities to take card payments for materials in the workshops. Please remember to bring cash or your cheque book if your course involves buying materials from the tutor.
There will also be mounts and frames to purchase if you wish.
Students Please Bring
We advise that you do not buy any materials required for a course more than two weeks in advance, because occasionally a course is cancelled due to low enrolment.

- Sponging a delicate paint background.
- The way to stitch all different flowers (it only takes five different stitches!!)
- How to arrange a balanced finished picture.
- The art of mounting and framing ribbon work.

- 6/7" embroidery hoop (there will be some to borrow)
- Any needles, threads you have...... but they will be available to use.
