Thurs 13th January 2pm - 3:30pm
(UK timings)
This LivePlus™ online workshop is ideal for absolute beginners and those looking to have a bit of fun exploring new techniques. This is a relaxed, creative workshop - no experience necessary (and you don’t need to be able to draw!)
Workshop details
Explore simple printing through a variety of stamp-making techniques with Karen. We will explore some easy techniques for making your own stamps using a range of materials….from the humble carrot to the more sophisticated rubber!
These will be used to print stylized flowers and foliage – and maybe the odd bird or butterfly! Or perhaps tiny towns are more your thing! Or maybe a collection of cacti! The techniques we use can be adapted to all sorts of subject matter and are perfect for printing on paper or fabric to make mini works of art or greetings cards.
You needn't have the materials ready whilst watching the live demonstration – the demo session is a time to watch, ask and learn. After the demo you will be sent a link to the recording, which you can watch as many times as you wish for thirty days.
Specific skills you will learn at the workshop
Equipment & materials list
Materials are not included in the course fee. All the materials and equipment you will need are listed below.
This list is for guidance only - you can improvise and source your own materials, either in advance or once you have seen the LivePlus™ workshop, giving you maximum flexibility to choose how you would like to approach this craft.
