This one-day, onsite workshop is suitable for complete beginners and those with some experience
Workshop Details
Learn to create beautiful realistic sugar flowers, whether you want to make a stunning centre piece for your homemade special-occasion cake, liven up a bought one, or simply create a stunning ornamental centre piece for your table, this class will teach you how to create wonderful flowers and the skills to continue at home.
You will learn how to make a variety of sugar flowers and decoration from start to finish.
You will be shown how to prepare sugar paste, roll and cut flowers, soften and vein them, colour and set them, wire and tape them into a beautiful display and lots of tips and tricks to create ‘real’ looking flowers. You will also use specialist tools cutters and moulds, and learn how to dry and store your work so that it can last for years and be used over and over again.

Materials
Materials are not included in your booking fee. All materials will be provided by the tutor. The approximate cost of these will be £10 - £15, payable to the tutor during the course.
Your tutor may not have the facilities to take card payments in the workshops. Please remember to bring cash or your cheque book
Please Bring With You
If anyone has any tools, cutters or molds or mats they would like to bring along and use or test out then please feel free, but all essential equipment will be provided.
We advise that you do not buy any materials required for a course more than two weeks in advance, because occasionally a course is cancelled due to low enrolment.
