This two-day, onsite print workshop is suitable for complete beginners and those with experience.

Workshop Details
Students will have the opportunity to work with a variety of print methods - Thermafax screens, gellie plates, stencils and stamps. You will start by “practicing” and experimenting with the different mediums before going on to print a length of fabric that can be made into either a pinny, a bag or a picture.

Materials are not included in the booking fee. Some materials will be provided by the tutor. The approximate cost of these will be £15 payable to the tutor during the workshop. The items you will need to bring with you are listed below

We advise that you do not buy any materials required for a course more than two weeks in advance, because occasionally a course is cancelled due to low enrolment.

Students - please bring with you:
- Fabric – whatever you wish - most fabric can be printed on. Bring plenty to play with. If you wish to buy fabric from me it will be at cost. I will have calico and cotton drill available.
- I will bring pinnys for you to wear but please wear old clothes.
- If you are bringing your own fabric the following lengths are needed for your final piece.
- A pinny will take 1 . 3 mtrs. A bag 0.6 mtrs plus the same for lining. You can choose the size of your picture but I recommend a maximum of 1 square metre.
- If you wish to make your pinny or bag or embellish your picture with stitch please bring your sewing machine (and lead), the correct feet and any threads you wish to use.
