Tutor Clive Eastland
10am - 4pm
(Lunch 12.30 - 1.00pm)
NB. This two-day, onsite workshop is not suitable for beginners. It is designed for those with experience in this medium. Clive will not have time to go back to basics.
Workshop Details
During this workshop you will be shown how to capture the majesty of a Snowdonia mountain reflected in a lake. To embody this, your finished painting will be a little larger than is usual on Clive's workshops.
You will be shown various techniques of pastel application to enable you to not only depict the distant mountain and reflections, but also the rocks below the water. As usual, Clive will work on his own piece during the sessions so students can observe the process of development using this versatile medium, whilst offering abundant guidance along the way.
Skills/Techniques Covered
Materials
Materials are not included in the booking fee. The tutor will provide the pastelmat to work on and also to practice at a cost of £6. He will also have for sale a limited range of pastels of some of the required colours needed for the course that are not normally supplied in starter sets to be payable to the tutor on the day. The tutor may not have the facilities to take card payments for materials in the workshops. Please remember to bring cash or your cheque book.
Students Please Bring
We advise that you do not buy any materials required for a course more than two weeks in advance, because occasionally a course is cancelled due to low enrolment.
