Workshop details
By popular demand, Jonathan has created this four-part course that will show you how to draw beautiful pet portraits with coloured pencil. You will work on two portraits - a cat and a dog - spending two weeks on each.
Using photos as reference, you will be shown how to trace down your outline, mix colours using layers, leave spaces for highlights, achieve the texture of fur, and how to add details and texture with the coloured pencils.
You needn't have the materials ready whilst watching the live demonstrations, you can simply watch, ask and learn. After each demo you will be given a link to the recording, which you can watch as many times as you wish for thirty days after the course ends.
Specific skills you will learn at the workshop
Equipment & materials list
Materials are not included in the course fee. All the materials and equipment you will need are listed below.
Watercolour pencils can be used but we will only use them dry
