This LivePlus™ online workshop is ideal for beginners and those wishing to further develop their skills with coloured pencils.
Workshop details
Coloured pencils are very under-rated as an art form, yet they are easy to manipulate, feel familiar to handle, and the resulting artistic successes are extremely satisfying. You will soon become “hooked” on this wonderful art media.
With good quality coloured pencils and smooth paper, this course is an enjoyable way to begin your journey or improve on what you already know. There is no mess, and no worry about using water and paint - it is delightful to do and not difficult to learn.
During this two-part course, Jan will teach you how to use coloured pencils to create a 'painting' of Autumn botanicals. We will study a different seasonal flower or seed-head in each session, and these will be confirmed closer to the time.
Students will be encouraged to work along as Jan demonstrates the techniques and then practise in their own time between the two sessions. There will be time for feedback in the second session on any work that students wish to share.
Specific skills you will learn at the workshop
Materials are not included in the course fee. All the materials and equipment you will need are listed below.
After each demo you will be sent a link to view the recording, which you can watch as many times as you wish for thirty days.
