Workshop Details
A great introduction to chalk paint syngenetic chalk and mineral paint. This is a full day workshop ideal for complete beginners and upwards. You will explore different techniques of panting your furniture. You will be given tuition in all aspects from preparation to achieving a smooth finish.
Skills / Techniques Covered
Correct preparation & achieving a smooth finish by using the best tools. You will be introduced two ranges of paint, waxes and top coats.
Materials
Materials are not included in the booking fee. All materials will be provided by the tutor. The approximate cost of these will be £9 payable to the tutor during the workshop. Please bring cash or cheque.
The tutor will be bringing additional paints, brushes , waxes etc which you may wish to purchase for future projects to use at home.
Students Please Bring
One small piece of unpainted furniture no bigger than 60cm high x 40cm deep x 40cm high, the average size of a 3-drawer bedside. Alternatively you can bring a small nest of 3 tables although only 2 may get completely finished. Please wear suitable old clothes for painting in.
