Mon 24th October 2pm - 4pm (UK time)
This LivePlus™ online workshop is ideal for beginners as well as those who have experience of working with mixed media.
Workshop details
Autumn is an inspirational time, and the trees in particular offer so many visual opportunities. In this workshop, Jo will teach you how to explore and experiment with media and techniques to express your ideas of this colourful season.
Experiment with some mixed media techniques and discover how to combine different media to capture your observations of colour, pattern and texture and bring richness to your work. You will learn how to create interesting paper surfaces that can be used as ‘samples’ or layered using collage techniques, and have the chance to work in a wide range of materials such as ink, acrylics and oil pastels, right through to others of your choice
You can work along with Jo for parts of the workshop, or choose to just watch and learn. After the demo all students will be sent a link to the recording, which you can watch as many times as you wish for thirty days.
Specific skills you will learn at the workshop
Materials are not included in the course fee. All the materials and equipment you will need are listed below.
This list is for guidance only - you are welcome to improvise, either in advance or once you have seen the LivePlus™ workshop, giving you maximum flexibility to choose how you would like to approach this craft.
