Along with detailed demonstrations by Marilyn, you will use magazine pictures and photos, to create a unique, beautiful festive picture to be proud of. Silk ribbon is very easy to work with because it is soft and malleable and your design will grow quickly to produce beautiful results. Whether a partridge in a pear tree or a Christmas tree or something else you'd like to try...
All stitches will be demonstrated step by step, as well as some extra ideas for future projects.
Materials
Materials are not included in the booking fee. All silk ribbons and backing fabric will be provided by the tutor for the sum of £10. Frames and mounts will also be available to purchase, to enable you to hang your finished picture!
All threads will be provided free of charge.
Students please bring
We advise that you do not buy any materials required for a course more than two weeks in advance, because occasionally a course is cancelled due to low enrolment
