Workshop details
Dig out all your random remnants of wool and make a couple of fabulous alternative wreaths. Pompoms, simple crochet and a bit of sparkle all add up to a festive feel-good activity! Perfect projects for using up your left-over bits of wool – that can be done on the sofa with a minimum of mess!
First, we will make a wreath primarily composed of a multitude of pompoms – using a pompom maker for speed – and embellished with mini decorations and a bit of sparkle. Karen will show you how to put it all together and finish the back neatly.
The second wreath will start with some very simple crochet over a wire frame…. this forms a blank woolly canvas to add pompom Christmas puddings or festive robins…. or simply an array of coloured or sparkly pompoms.
These wreaths can be subtle and sophisticated or bright, bold and sparkly. A fun relaxing activity to get you feeling festive! You needn't have the materials ready whilst watching the live demonstration – the demo session is a time to watch, ask and learn. After the demo you will be given a link to the recording, which you can watch as many times as you wish for thirty days.
