Another in Martin's 'The Art of the City' series, this fascinating talk will look in depth at one of the world's many important art destinations: Chicago.
Second only to New York, on the shores of Lake Michigan, Chicago boasts one of the finest collections of art and exciting modern architecture in the world. Having travelled to the Windy City many times, Martin uses lots of his own photographs taken over the past twenty years. Join us for this personal look at Chicago, the art of this wonderful city, and the contemporary artists Martin has met there.
Martin will provide a list of helpful books and links to further explore on a PDF following the talk via the blackboard.
The talk will last for 60 minutes, followed by an open Q&A session.
