This two-day, onsite workshop is suitable for complete beginners and those wishing to refresh their skills
Workshop Details
Day 1:
This ecoprinting workshop is designed to develop all the skills and techniques you need to produce beautiful unique prints. We will explore and experiment with a combination of the different mordants, tannins and natural dyes using a variety of different papers, cards and fabrics. You will learn how to create high quality, well-defined prints using a wide range of leaf and foliage materials.
Day 2:
With these papers and fabrics, we will then explore how they can be used to create a range of beautiful handmade books, to include Coptic Bound, Japanese Stab and a Linen Bound journal. With the offcuts from the prints, you will also have the opportunity to create a range of individual greetings cards.

Materials
Materials are not included in the booking fee. Some materials will be provided by the tutor. The approximate cost of these will be £ 10 payable to the tutor during the workshop. Please bring cash or cheque book
Students - please bring with you:
We advise that you do not buy any materials required for a course more than two weeks in advance, because occasionally a course is cancelled due to low enrolment.

- An old towel
- Pair scissors
- Leaves from deciduous trees not evergreens, the following are good:
- Oak, Chestnut, Walnut, Birch, Eucalyptus, Cotinus, Hardy Geranium
- The tutor will have a supply so don’t worry if you cannot access many.
- Craft Knife, Ruler
- Cutting Board
