Workshop details
Add a little flourish to your lives with our brand-new monthly Flourishing Club! Your chance to enjoy some time exploring the wonderful world of the pointed pen with like-minded people from around the world.
Starting in February 2023, you are invited to join us once a month for an hour of glorious offhand flourishing with the wonderful Heather Victoria Held. We will be running the club in three-month bursts, but plan to continue throughout the year (and beyond) if you would like us to!
This isn’t a formal class in the traditional sense, we hope it will be a little more sociable in feel. We want to create something really special; a group that flourishes together, in every sense. An opportunity to switch off from the real world for a while and practice those beautiful skills.
Heather will teach us a new design each month, and every session will be accompanied by photographs that you can follow on with again in your own time.
Places are limited and, to gain the most from the experience, we hope that you will all join us live online wherever possible. For those times when life gets in the way, rest assured that you will also have access to a recording of each session for 60 days.
Equipment & materials list
Materials are not included in the course fee. All the materials and equipment you will need are listed below.
We will be exploring various flourishes throughout the year, and they can be coloured in any way you like. The supply list here includes some of my favourites. You do not need all these items. Use what you have on hand, and you can add to your supplies as you see them demonstrated.

Additional Information
All Ardington ONLINE classes and talks are accompanied by their own online blackboard. Helpful and easy to use, they enable students and tutors to share resources, ideas and photos with each other – just as you would in a classroom environment. You will be sent the link to access your blackboard in the week before your class begins and will have access for at least sixty days after the class ends.
After the live session has finished on Zoom, we will share the link to view the recording on the blackboard. You can watch the recording as many times as you like for sixty days.
We suggest that you do not buy any specialist materials more than one week in advance as, occasionally, a class may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
