This one-day, onsite workshop is suitable for complete beginners and those wishing to refresh.

Workshop Details
Spend the day playing with polymer clay creating pretty covered papier mache Easter eggs with colourful, patterns and motifs perfect as gifts or keep for yourself.

Polymer clay is a malleable material that is baked in a domestic oven.  Available in a rainbow of colours, it can be mixed and blended to create beautiful effects.  This workshop will show you how to create a polymer clay ‘cane’ in a blended spiral design (think of a piece of seaside rock with a pattern running through it) using three colours of polymer clay.  This will be sliced and the pieces used to cover the eggs or create other items of your choice, perhaps some decorative beads to embellish the eggs, plus cut out motifs such as bunnies and chicks.  You will also be shown how to use a lovely tool known as an extruder to create a freeform, colourful pattern with which to cover eggs.  This workshop will introduce novices to the marvels of polymer clay and develop the skills of those already familiar with its addictive qualities!
