Workshop Details
With the Spring just around the corner, we’re looking to the garden. Making a herb planter & tray and a sundial to grace your garden, patio or balcony.
This workshop will take on the technical challenge of making herb planter plus it’s drainage tray, together with a sundial tailored to your chosen location using slab building techniques; this will involve rolling out slabs of clay. We can also include texture as part of the decoration of the planter.
The pots will be left with the tutor for firing and final transparent glaze application and will be available for collection from Ardington School of Crafts approx 4-5 weeks following the class. Pieces can also be posted directly to students for additional cost. Alternatively students may take their pieces home directly.
