This LivePlus™ online series is ideal for those who have attended Sheila's previous classes but is also very accessible to complete tangling beginners. This is a work-along workshop and so we would encourage students to have their materials to hand, ready to participate live during the class.

Workshop details
Following the success of our Zentangle® Art Clubs so far, we are running another series of weekly Zentangle® Art classes - hosted by Ardington ONLINE and led by Certified Zentangle® Teacher, Sheila Murray. The club provides a perfect opportunity to step out of your daily routine and immerse yourself in the world of tangling - relaxation and creativity at their best!

The definition of a mosaic is to produce a piece of art that is composed of many tiny pieces of glass or tile.  Our tangled mosaic will comprise of a tangled tile as a quarter of the design so that when reproduced will make a whole design.  We will use The Zentangle® Method and colour to create our mosaic designs.  You will be able to reproduce the design yourself and we will join all our work together to create a variety of magical designs.

Differing slightly from our usual LivePlus™ format, these classes are completely interactive - from both a teaching and a social aspect - and as such all students are encouraged to tangle along live each week to gain the most from the process.

To enable you to practice again in your own time, the sessions will be recorded and each new tangle will be accompanied by written notes as an aide memoire.

Specific skills you will learn at the workshop
  • The Zentangle® Method terminology
  • Tangle styles and how to draw them
  • Shading and colour techniques to enhance the tangles

Additional Information
All Ardington ONLINE classes and talks are accompanied by their own online blackboard. Helpful and easy to use, they enable students and tutors to share resources, ideas and photos with each other – just as you would in a classroom environment.

Sheila will offer personalised critique / feedback via the blackboard for any work uploaded by students within thirty days of the class ending. You will be sent the link to access your blackboard in the week before your class begins and will have access for at least sixty days after the class ends.

After the live session has finished on Zoom, we will share the link to view the recording on the blackboard.  You can watch the recording as many times as you like for sixty days.
