This LivePlus™ online workshop is suitable for beginners and improvers. This is a work-along workshop and so we would encourage students to have their materials to hand, ready to participate live during the class.
Workshop details
In this two-part workshop, we will be joining Anne Kelly to create a folk themed sampler.
Using a ‘Folk Art’ themed template from Anne’s ‘Folk Fragments’ collections, you will be guided through the processes and methods you need to create and embellish your unique and personal sampler.
You will need to dip into your stash to choose suitable fabric scraps and threads to complete your work. Sewing machines are helpful but not essential for this course, and there will be plenty of ideas and inspiration provided. You can use hand stitching and or machine stitch to complete your project - the choice is yours.
Specific skills you will learn at the workshop

Anne will offer critique / feedback during the sessions for all students participating live, as well as via the blackboard for any work uploaded by students within thirty days of the final class ending. You will be sent the link to access your blackboard in the week before your class begins and will have access for at least sixty days after the class ends.
After the live session has finished on Zoom, we will share the link to view the recording on the blackboard. You can watch the recording as many times as you like for sixty days.
