Tutor: Rachel Warrillow
Fri 20th October 10am - 12:30pm
(UK timings)
This LivePlus™ online workshop is suitable for beginners as well as improvers. This is a work-along workshop and so we would encourage students to have their materials to hand, ready to participate live during the class.
Workshop details
In this workshop Rachel will be showing us how to use the wonderful, mindful, paper craft technique called quilling, to create these beautiful snowflake and star decorations. Perfect to hang on your tree, gift to friends or add to cards and presents, these decorations are relaxing to make, and so effective.
We will be using strips of white paper with a metallic edge, giving them shine and sparkle for the winter evenings. Once you have mastered the techniques, you will be able to repeat the design as many times as you like, and even create your own unique variations and designs.
This workshop is suitable for beginners, but please note that it is quite small, detailed work, so nimble fingers can help!
Specific skills you will learn at the workshop

All items are available individually, or the bundle of everything you need (minus scissors and ruler), is available from Rachel directly for £13 inc. UK P&P. Click here for details.
Additional Information
All Ardington ONLINE classes and talks are accompanied by their own online blackboard. Helpful and easy to use, they enable students and tutors to share resources, ideas and photos with each other – just as you would in a classroom environment.
Rachel will offer personalised critique / feedback via the blackboard for any work uploaded by students within thirty days of the class ending. You will be sent the link to access your blackboard in the week before your class begins and will have access for at least sixty days after the class ends.
After the live session has finished on Zoom, we will share the link to view the recording on the blackboard. You can watch the recording as many times as you like for sixty days.
We suggest that you do not buy any specialist materials more than one week in advance as, occasionally, a class may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
