This one-day workshop is suitable for complete beginners and those with experience:
Workshop Details
Spend the day playing with polymer clay creating pretty Christmas decorations and jewellery that appear to have been knitted.
Polymer clay is a malleable material that is baked in a domestic oven. Available in a rainbow of colours, it can be mixed and blended to create beautiful effects. This workshop will show you how to create patterns in polymer clay that mimic knitting! Don’t worry, you do not need to know how to knit as the technique is entirely different. You will be shown how to use a lovely tool known as an extruder to create polymer clay ‘yarn’ to form polymer clay knitting. This workshop will introduce novices to the marvels of polymer clay and develop the skills of those already familiar with its addictive qualities!

Materials
Materials are not included in the booking fee. All materials will be provided by the tutor. The approximate cost of these will be £8, payable to the tutor during the class.

- Conditioning polymer clay
- Shaping and cutting polymer clay

- Wet wipes (not water wipes as these may rust my pasta machines)
- An apron (optional, this is not really that messy).
