Workshop details
Join us for this brand new online workshop with Mary Noble and learn how to have fun with Pilot Parallel Pens.
The freedom that the Pilot Parallel Pens offer opens new avenues for creative lettering for calligraphers, whether for livelier envelope-writing and signage, or for attractive designs using your favourite quotes.
These pens invite playful exploration of common letterforms into more unusual designs. We'll explore how to use the broad edge, the side for fine lines, and the added potential of colour-change as you write. Get to know these pens and their informal, gestural side!
The optional kit which accompanies this class includes two Pilot Parallel Pens (size 2.4mm and 3.8mm) as well as a box of twelve assorted Pilot coloured ink cartridges.
The kit is available to UK students only, includes postage and packaging, and must be purchased at the time of booking. Limited stock available.

Additional Information
All Ardington ONLINE classes and talks are accompanied by their own online blackboard. Helpful and easy to use, they enable students and tutors to share resources, ideas and photos with each other – just as you would in a classroom environment.
Mary will offer personalised critique / feedback via the blackboard for any work uploaded by students within thirty days of the class ending. You will be sent the link to access your blackboard in the week before your class begins and will have access for at least sixty days after the class ends.
After the live session has finished on Zoom, we will share the link to view the recording on the blackboard. You can watch the recording as many times as you like for sixty days.
We suggest that you do not buy any specialist materials more than one week in advance as, occasionally, a class may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
