Workshop Details
Mix Printing and Stitch to make artistic gifts for friends and relatives which will be treasured for years to come. Sachets, table runners, wall hangings, padded hangers, drawstring bags and tea cosies; not to mention beautiful cushion covers can be made in this productive workshop. Victoria will show you how to use the textile inks for hand painting backgrounds and images; she will then show you how to print further images onto your pieces to add further details. Finally, embellish your painting with hand and machine stitching.
Materials
Materials are not included in the booking fee. The tutor will supply some of the materials for £8 payable to the tutor on the day. Tea towels and additional materials will start from £4 upward. Your tutor can take cash or card payment
Stuents please bring
We advise that you do not buy any materials required for a course more than two weeks in advance, because occasionally a course is cancelled due to low enrolment.
