Workshop Details
The workshop will start with colour mixing exercises and you will be shown how to produce your own colour chart which you will use as reference for the autumn landscape paintings that you will produce later in the day. By the end of the day you will have produced colour charts and a couple of small paintings from photographs.

Materials

Students - please bring with you:
- A few sheets or a pad of A4 or equivalent size 140lb (300gsm) cold pressed (Not surface) watercolour paper
- Watercolour paint in either tubes or pans. If bringing tubes, then you will need a palette.
- Basic set of recommended colours: Ultramarine Blue, Cobalt Blue (optional), Cadmium Yellow Pale, Burnt Sienna, Raw Sienna, Alizarin Crimson, Cadmium Red
- One size 10 or 12 and one size 2 or 4 round watercolour brush
- Tissues
- Eraser
- 2B or 4B pencil
- Pencil sharpener
