Course details
Discover a new pathway to beautiful penmanship through the gentle grace of Spencerian Script.

While we begin with historic Spencerian models, we will not adhere to a rigid approach. The underlying structure will whisper through our own expression of the hand.  This delicate script will enhance your pointed pen skills while infusing rhythm into your writing.

This approach to Spencerian Script is easy to learn and a joy to practice. While beautiful hairlines and shades can be explored with your pointed pen, you will find that this script can be adapted for use with a brush pen, a ballpoint pen, pencil, and a fountain pen. Simple accent flourishes will also be demonstrated throughout the class.

All skill levels are welcome in this class.

All Ardington ONLINE classes and talks are accompanied by their own online class page. Helpful and easy to use, these private pages enable students and tutors to share resources, ideas and photos with each other – before, during, and after class.

Heather will offer personal feedback for any work submitted via the class page within thirty days of the class ending.  The link to access the page will be shared via email in the days leading up to the class.
