Join us for the next in our 'Sketching with Pat Southern-Pearce' series.
Pat delights in drawing flowers: freshly picked from her rambling garden, gifts from special people (capturing the memory) or drawn, sitting out on her little stool with birdsong and breeze. She once showed and sold a whole room of her flower paintings and come blue skies and Spring, every year without fail, more appear, for real and on paper.
In this two-part course, she helps to focus looking and choosing by splitting up the sessions into “ Line drawings with a little extra” and “full-on colour, energies and sensitivity in a mix of media.” Some work will be on white and some on colour. There will be a variety of references used, including Pat’s sketches and photos. And maybe, just maybe, Pat will bring real flowers in as well. It’ll be lovely. It’ll be absorbing … and it’ll be fun!

- Week 2: The colourful softness, energies & sensitivities of flowers. In a mix of media on a variety of coloured grounds and white.
