Course details
In this two-part class, we will be joining Jonathan Newey to explore the vibrant world of exotic bird life in watercolours and coloured pencils.

This course is designed for artists of all skill levels who wish to capture the vivid colours and intricate details of tropical birds. You’ll learn to blend the fluidity of watercolours with the precision of coloured pencils, working from reference photos to create stunning, lifelike artworks.  

Jonathan will provide step-by-step guidance, covering techniques such as layering, shading, and texturing. By the end of the course, you'll have the skills and confidence to produce your own beautiful, detailed paintings of tropical birds.
