Combining tutor-led live classes with elements of self-study, these courses are designed to stretch and challenge you, whilst maintaining the small & friendly learning environment we are known for.
This seven-week course is designed for beginners, focusing on foundational skills and techniques. Working along with Jonathan, you will explore essential elements such as line, shape, form, perspective, and shading. The course covers a range of subjects such as still life, animals, buildings and landscapes, helping you to develop observation skills and hand-eye coordination. We will be working predominantly in graphite pencil.
Through step-by-step instructions, practical exercises, and guided projects, Jonathan will help you to build confidence in your drawing abilities. No prior experience is required, making it perfect for anyone eager to start their artistic journey. Additional Information
All Ardington ONLINE classes and talks are accompanied by their own online class page. Helpful and easy to use, these private pages enable students and tutors to share resources, ideas and photos with each other – before, during, and after class.
Jonathan will offer personal feedback for any work submitted via the class page within thirty days of the class ending. The link to access the page will be shared via email in the days leading up to the class.
We suggest that you do not buy any specialist materials more than one week in advance as, occasionally, a class may be cancelled due to low enrolment. For full terms and conditions, please click here.
