Mark's 'introduction to embossing' classes are always popular, so we thought we would add another one to the calendar. If you've always wanted to try your hand at the art of paper embossing, this beginner's class teaches the gentle and glorious art of paper embossing but with a festive twist.
Using his years of experience as a calligrapher, Mark will focus on embossed lettering for Christmas cards and gifts but will also include a simple image to bring the card together. You will be introduced to some of the basic techniques required to create beautifully crisp designs, working along in real time to create a piece you'll love.
Specific skills you will learn
- Designing and preparing a template for embossing
- Embossing letters onto watercolour paper
