Course details
Writing credits, adding small sub-scripts, writing tiny contrasting text against large – we often want to add something to our calligraphic designs with some very teeny writing and end up messing it up because it goes blobby and uneven.
In this ever-popular class with Mary Noble, you will learn the techniques that enable you to perfect 2mm high letters and the like, in capitals and italic, enhancing your design whilst keeping those essential extras discreet but beautiful.
Specific skills you will learn
Additional Information
All Ardington ONLINE classes and talks are accompanied by their own online class page. Helpful and easy to use, these private pages enable students and tutors to share resources, ideas and photos with each other – before, during, and after class.
Mary will offer personal feedback for any work submitted via the class page within thirty days of the class ending. The link to access the page will be shared via email in the days leading up to the class.
We suggest that you do not buy any specialist materials more than one week in advance as, occasionally, a class may be cancelled due to low enrolment. For full terms and conditions, please click here.
*The tutor feedback section of the second session is not recorded. This is to ensure that you have an opportunity to share your work without feeling self-conscious. Please join us live for this session if you can – even if you chose the ‘recording only’ option above. Rest assured that any additional tutor demonstrations will be recorded and shared.
