Class details
Quilling is a wonderfully mindful paper craft where we take strips of paper, curl and shape them in various ways and use the paper on its edge. This creates a stunning effect of light and shadow, shape and colour.
In this two-part quilling class we will look at creating decorated letters. These can be a wonderful gift that can be personalised in design and colour - perfect for the festive season.
We will practice various skills that you can use within your design. We will work together on a heart shape, before moving on to your final letter design.
In the class you will be working on your chosen letter, and beyond the class you will then have the skills and confidence to design and create as many as you like in the future too!

All Ardington ONLINE classes and talks are accompanied by their own online class page. Helpful and easy to use, these private pages enable students and tutors to share resources, ideas and photos with each other – before, during, and after class.
Rachel will offer personal feedback for any work submitted via the class page within thirty days of the class ending. The link to access the page will be shared via email in the days leading up to the class.
