This one-day, onsite workshop is designed for the complete beginner and those of you who would like to regain your confidence with your machine and make friends with it again. You will work on how your machine works.
Please quote the make & model of your sewing machine in the Notes section when booking this workshop
Workshop Details
We will start with what your machine can do, including looking at which basic threads, machine needles, machine feet are best required for your future sewing projects. You will learn tips to help guide you on towards your sewing adventure. Amanda will provide you with a folder on the day, with added information, where you will take examples home that you have mastered during that day.
Plus you will make a small cute Sewing Needle Holder to take home.

This course is designed for the Complete Beginner or if you would like to regain your confidence with your machine and make friends with it again
Materials
Materials are not included in your booking fee. Some materials will need to be included by the Tutor. The approximate cost of these, including the take home folder, are £15.00 payable to the tutor on the day.
Your tutor may not have the facilities to take card payments for materials in the workshops. Please remember to bring cash or your cheque book if your course involves buying materials from the tutor.

We advise that you do not buy any materials required for a course more than two weeks in advance, because occasionally a course is cancelled due to low enrolment.
