Course details
Inspired by Karen's love of both creating things AND growing things, this fantastic new series will be made up of twelve classes, split across the four seasons.  Starting in March 2025, the classes will chronicle and celebrate a year in the garden. 

Whether you have an allotment, garden, balcony, or window box, the classes are designed to help you create a lovely visual journal full of drawings, doodles, prints, painting, lists, and lettering.  Each month you will add to your sketchbook (using a variety of techniques and building a library of skills) whilst creating a beautiful record of the changing seasons.

Spring is the season of bulbs, blossom, and birdsong; when nature wakes from its winter slumber with the promise of warmer days to come. As a gardener Karen can’t wait to start planning and planting.  As an artist she is inspired by the blossom-filled trees and the abundance of bulbs with their blast of bright colour after the stark monochrome of winter….. join us to celebrate the season of renewal!

This booking is for the SPRING season and classes will take place in March, April, and May.  In addition to the three 'live' online classes each season, students will also receive two bonus projects.  These will vary across the series, but you can expect a wonderful blend of pre-recorded demonstrations, recipes to try, beautifully crafted instructions for make at home projects, and much, much more.  

You can work along with Karen at a gentle pace during the live classes or follow the recordings in your own time as you document the changes in your garden (or window-box!) with the passing months.
