Workshop Details
A wonderful opportunity to create some lovely outdoor sculptures in the form of flowers, tree decorations or even wind chimes to bring another dimension to your garden.
This workshop will offer you the opportunity to further experiment with glass fusing techniques. There are many possibilities from abstract garden structures to flowers, birds or wind chimes. Whether you are new to glass or have experience of fusing there will be lots to inspire you and ideas to share. We will plan and cut our glass according to our design and assemble it ready for firing in a Glass Kiln. Once fired it will be returned to Ardington for collection. At home you can assemble your glass piece to metal structures or stakes or suspend it from trees or structures. Suitable glues and assemblage techniques will be discussed during this workshop. Some metal structures and stakes will be available for sale. You may also bring your own materials e.g. Driftwood, Willow etc. and we can discuss its suitability and use.
