This onsite, cyanotype printing workshop is suitable for beginners and inprovers
Workshop Details
This workshop will get you experimenting with an early photographic technique. Cyanotypes were developed in 1842 not long after the announcement of photography. Suitable for complete beginners who are interested in photography and painting.
This workshop will cover mixing the solutions, coating paper/fabric, exposure, washing and caring for your prints after. We will also experiment with two different toning techniques; tea toning and bleaching. We will follow the simple photogram method to create these prints and will focus our images on floral arrangements.
Skills/Techniques Covered
Materials
All materials will be provided by the tutor. The approximate cost of these will be £6, payable to the tutor during the course.
The tutor may not have the facilities to take card payments for materials in the workshops. Please remember to bring cash or your cheque book
