Workshop Details
Enjoy a day experimenting with print on textiles by layering additional colours and textures onto prints with inks and making additional marks with free machine embroidery and hand embroidery embellishment.
If you are a beginner or have been on previous printing courses, you will enjoy this day learning how to expand your print making skills to create special compositions and decorative fabric to make into a variety of home accessories or curtains and blinds. By layering multiple images and stitch marks you will create original pieces of art and ensure your compositions come to life with added texture and colour. We will be using hand-painting, screen printing and relief printing blocks. Additionally, Victoria will have two sewing machines set up to make further marks along with a variety of threads and needles to add excitement to your work.
