In this fascinating workshop, Maggie will teach you how to paint bold, colourful flowers in the freestyle technique typical of Chinese painting. During this two-day workshop, you will be shown how to make observational sketches of flowers such as iris and poppy from photos before completing several compositions. Maggie will talk you through the rules of Chinese composition. The painting will be in freestyle giving vitality and spontaneity.

Please Bring With You
- Any Chinese painting materials you may have
- 2 water pots
- China palette or saucer
- Sketch pad and pencil
- Soft cloth to cover work surface (paper is absorbent and soaks through) - an old sheet or fine thin towel is fine
- Maggie will also bring materials for you to borrow or purchase if necessary. A starter kit will be approximately £25.
