Part 1: Da Vinci
- Martin examines the extraordinary genius of Leonardo, particularly looking at his achievements as an artist. We will be looking at many well known works, as well as those less well known, set against the context of his times.
Part 2: Titian
- This week we will be looking at the most important member of the 16th Century Venetian school - an extraordinarily gifted and original painter. Martin examines the central themes of his art and times together with his enormous influence on the art world.
Part 3: Michelangelo
- Michelangelo was the complete Renaissance man; a brilliant sculptor, painter, poet and architect. His work ethic and achievements were astounding. In this talk Martin will look at some of the many highlights of his amazing life.
