This LivePlus™ online mixed media workshop is designed for absolute beginners through to intermediate level
Workshop details
Create a multi-layered mixed media piece of work incorporating collage, simple printing, stencilling, drawing & painting. A fun experimental workshop, no experience necessary - and you don’t need to be able to draw! We will look at creating a multi-layered image using collage, line and paint. We will use acrylic paints to create layers of transparent colour, spatters and drips over a collaged base, adding simple printed patterns and stencils. We will then work over the top of this with drawn and painted elements to make lively mixed media images.
There will be lots of demos & step-by-step instruction in this fun and informal workshop.
Specific skills you will learn at the workshop:
Equipment & materials list
Materials are not included in the course fee. All the materials and equipment you will need are listed below. This list is for guidance only - you can improvise and source your own materials, either in advance or once you have seen the LivePlus workshop, giving you maximum flexibility to choose how you would like to approach this craft.
You needn't have the materials ready whilst watching the live demonstration – the demo session is a time to watch, ask and learn. After the demo you will be sent a link to the recording, which you can watch as many times as you wish for thirty days.
