Our resident paper cutter Christine Green talks us through the fascinating and intricate world of paper cutting. The 60 minute talk will look at the diverse array of different paper cutting styles and techniques from China to Poland, Mexico to Germany. We will also look at the work of some contemporary paper cutters including Sarah Morpeth, Rob Ryan and Karen Bit Vejle and their approaches to the craft.
Stuffed full of beautiful photos and video clips, Christine's talk will also touch on her own work and influences which include Haitian steel drum art and Victorian fretwork.
