Created by Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas, The Zentangle® Method is an easy to learn, relaxing and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns.
This taster workshop will provide you with a background in the history of Zentangle®, introduce you to the basic steps of the method, vocabulary, and to the tools used.
Sheila will be encouraging students to tangle along with her as she demonstrates the techniques.

- Black Sakura Pigma Micron 01 or fine black felt tip pen (Pentel / Pilot are good makes)
- Mini graphite pencil or HB pencil
- A tortillion (also known as a paper stump)
- 120gsm+ paper cut into a 3 ½” square or original Zentangle® square tiles 3 ½”
